Max people on the 14 ft boats is 3 for the Nadens and 4 for the larger Misty Rivers. Bay View Resort reserves the right to refuse rentals if rules are violated or for any misuse or careless use of boats. Please use common sense. Accidents happen quickly and the water can be deadly.

Accommodation

RESERVATIONS: All reservations from June 27 to Aug 29 are weekly only, Saturday to Saturday. We will book shorter reservations only two week prior to arrival No refunds for early departures. Phone reservations will NOT be held beyond 3 weeks without a deposit.
DEPOSIT: A deposit of $200 per cottage per week, or $100 per weekend, is required with a reservation. A deposit will only be refunded if a cancellation is received 30 DAYS prior to arrival date less a $25 admin fee.
EXTRA PERSONS: Only in cottages that can accommodate more people, $15 per day or $75 per week, but ONLY BY PREVIOUS ARRANGEMENT. If it is determined that you have extra people that we were not advised of at check in time. Charge will be doubled.
Day visitors: Day visitors visiting Bay View guests must advise the office on arrival or advance notice be given to Bay View by guests. A charge of $10 per visitor will apply. Visitors must leave Bay View by 8:00pm. If visitors arrive without Bay View being notified. Charges will be doubled.
ARRIVAL: All GUESTS and VISITORS are required to check in at the Office upon arrival. If day visitors who are visiting guests do not check in at office or guest pre arrange visitors, Charges for visitors will be doubled.
CHECK-IN TIME: 3 pm and CHECK-OUT TIME is 10 am for all weekly rentals. Saturday check-in for weekly bookings. We cannot guarantee your cottage will be ready for your occupancy before 3 pm.
CHILDREN under two years of age, no extra charge. Crib and high chair available. Please reserve as we have limited supply.
PETS: No Pit Bull like breeds allowed. One pet per cottage, and the rate is $35 per weekend or $50 per week. Arrangements must be made in advance. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times, tended to, cleaned up after and kept quiet. Pet agreement form will have to be signed at check in.
LINEN AND TOWEL RENTAL: Available to rent, not included with cottage. $15.00 per BED per week or weekend, for one set. This set of linens includes sheets, pillow slips, blankets, and one towel and facecloth per person. Please book in advance.
TV/VCRs are 19 or 20 inch with built in VCRs. Again please reserve as we have limited supply.
Any percentage discounts (Coupons or promotions) will be off the full summer rates.
COTTAGE ACCOUNTS: All Cottage Accounts are Payable on arrival.
TAX: All rates are currently subject to a 13% Goods & Services Tax (HST).
PAYMENT: Cash, personal cheque,Visa or MasterCard.
American and overseas visitors qualify for refund of the Canadian Federal GST (tax) on accommodation.

Marine craft

PONTOON BOAT 1 is a 20 ft Southland , with a 50hp 4-stroke, Fishfinder, livewell Swim ladder, rated for 12 people. No towing allowed. (Deposit, required) Click here for pictures
PONTOON BOAT 2 is a 22 ft, with a 40hp 2-stroke, rated for 12 people. No towing allowed. (Deposit, required), pictures coming in spring 2010
16.5 ft Alumacraft Fishing boat with a 50hp 4 stroke, rated for 5 people, Side consol, Live well, Fish finder, electric trolling motor. (Deposit required) Click here for pictures
MOTOR RENTALS: Motor (and boat) rental does not cover damage to the motor. You are liable for damages. A credit card damage deposit and a signed motor rental agreement are required with all rentals.
Rentals on the May long weekend: Due to the demand for boats this weekend, you will be charged for the boat rentals if you do not cancel 30 day prior to the weekend.
Day rentals are from dawn to dusk(there are no lights on the 14ft boats).
To operator any motorized boat in Canada: You will need one of the following,
1. A pleasure craft operator card.
2. Proof of having taken a boating safety course prior to April 1, 1999. .
3. If Renting, A completed rental boat safety checklist. This safety checklist will be filled out at time of rental.
4. U.S. residents operating a U.S. registered boat do not require a operators card. (Some limitations)
LIFE JACKETS: Life jackets will be supplied with boat(Deposit required). Please bring childrens life jackets, we only have a limited number of them. All boats must have 1 approved life jacket per person.
